The Jodey Broders Memorial Softball Tournament

Every year for the past 11 years, come rain or shine, a softball tournament has been held on the Tilting ball field, but it has only been over the past 4 years that the tournament has been called the Jodey Broders Memorial Softball Tournament. It is in memory of Jodey Broders, son of Jim & Isabelle Broders, who died unexpectedly in June of 2004. A trophy, donated by his uncle, Ron Broders, is the coveted prize at the end of the tournament along with various beer prizes. This tournament is held on the last Saturday of July and all proceeds from the tournament go towards the upgrading of the tournaments quality (i.e.: new bats, balls, bases, etc).

There are only days left until the start of the 2009 tournament (Saturday, July 25th) - will you be ready?
