2007 Come Home Year

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the great success of the 2007 Come Home Year. We are currently looking for pictures that people had taken throughout the week to post upon the site so that those who were not fortunate enough to make it home, or for those who would like to look back memories they made or to view some of the events that they may had missed. Monday July 23:
      - Open air mass with the Bishop and invited priests at Sandy Cove Beach
      - Pot luck buffet at the hall
      - Slide presentations
      - Wall of fame
      - Old fashion kitchen party & square dance

Tuesday July 24:
      - Tours of the cemeteries
      - Hymn sing (by the Altar Society)
      - Teen dance & teenie bopper dances
      - Fashion show/dinner theatre

Wednesday July 25:
     - Picnic at Oliver's Cove
      - "Foley's" and "Hurley's" Fast Pitch Reunion game
      - TEA Concert
      - Open Mic

Thursday July 26:
      - 11:00 am Mass
      - St Patrick's Day parade (BIS sashes & bouquets)
      - Floats (Heritage theme) & bagpipes
      - Irish stew (Fire Hall)
      - Tilting Idol & Fashion Show

Friday July 27:
      - Kids Camp
            - Fun ideas (crafts & games)
            - Wood cut outs (shamrock) for painting
            - Small hooked item (shamrock)
            - Kites
            - Kids t-shirts specially for the Kamp 1987-2007
            - Skills Presentation/Demonstrations various locations to be announced
      - Card game and lunch for seniors with entertainment
      - Jodey Broders Memorial Softball Tournament
      - Starting of the Knights Of Columbus Beach Festival
      - Weiner roast for the kids
      - Book Launch: "Ashes on Ice" by Georges LaFontaine
      - Connamara feature performer club event

Saturday July 28:
      - Jodey Broders Memorial Softball Tournament
      - Tilting Annual Fun Run/Walk
      - Celtic Fiddlers 3:00-5:00 on the beach
      - Connamara
